The balise is a key trackside component of the train control system, typically installed at the center of the track. It receives power signals from the Balise Transmission Module (BTM) antenna and communicates with the BTM using magnetic induction to transmit telegrams. Hengtai offers two types of balise products: switchable balises and unswitchable balises.
·The switchable balise receives real-time telegrams from the Lineside Electronic Unit (LEU) and relays them to the onboard equipment. In the event of communication failure with the LEU, it automatically transmits a pre-configured default telegram stored internally.
·The unswitchable balise, by contrast, transmits a fixed telegram stored in its memory, without receiving updates from the LEU.
