This axle box is engineered for heavy-haul coal and ore transport under demanding railway conditions. The cast steel housing incorporates reinforced ribbing at key stress points and a standardized interface compatible with common freight bogies. Manufactured from nodular cast iron, it provides ≥12 J impact strength at -50 °C, while low-temperature polyurethane seals prevent grease solidification below -40 °C. It supports axle loads of 23.5 t, and features a split housing design that enables wheelset replacement without bogie disassembly. Centralized lubrication ports ensure compatibility with CIS maintenance equipment.
