To tackle issues such as the short lifespan of storage devices in Event Recorder products, product failures when storage units are damaged, frequent inconsistencies in stored data during sudden events, and hardware failures causing data loss, the following system innovations have been implemented:
a) Balanced Write Algorithm: To extend the lifespan of storage devices, the Event Recorder adopts a balanced write algorithm, ensuring that each storage unit has an equal number of write and erase cycles.
b) Storage Unit Redundancy Mapping: To manage damaged storage units, the Event Recorder employs a redundancy mapping strategy, replacing damaged storage units with intact ones while recovering damaged units to ensure they are not written to again in the future.
c) Log System: To prevent data inconsistencies caused by unexpected events, the Event Recorder storage system utilizes a log system that automatically repairs corrupted data.
d) Triggered Buffering: To address hardware failures caused by sudden impacts, the Event Recorder storage system uses buffering during hardware failures and attempts automatic hardware recovery to ensure the integrity of recorded data.
